this blog is primarily to keep myself accountable. I have numerous health issues, and have been informed by my doctor that I need to lose 50 lbs before they will operate. At this point I need a hysterectomy. Possibly, with weight loss and a primarily raw diet, I’m hoping to avoid the operation all together. I’m young - only 34. I’m desperately hoping that I will not need it.
Here I’ll journal my daily intake, my weight, and any positive (or negative) changes.
I’ve been eating primarily raw for a couple of weeks. Weight loss has been excruciatingly slow. I’ve only lost about 8 lbs in 1 month. Due to my health problems, I’ve been unable to exercise. I’m starting to feel a little better, so I will attempt a little walking on the treadmill tonight. I’ll have to take it slow, as any strenuous exercise causes extremely heavy bleeding.
On a positive note, since changing my diet, I have heaps more energy than I’ve had in ages, and my skin colour has drastically improved. I’ve always been quite pale, and everyone is now commenting on how rosy my cheeks are now. It’s lovely
